History: Adam Zrelak career started in Lubotin, a village in Stara Lubovna, where the young striker showed all his talent and his hunger for a future in the professional football. "I really like to do it, i dreamed about it and now i'm sure, i'll play professional" explained Zrelak, playing with Lipany, a youth team in Slovakia where he was playing with 3 years older guys. He immediattly showed a great mix of technique, speed and a huge commitment that MFK Ruzomberok, a professional team of Fortuna Liga, appreciates much to buy him. He won the U15 league with the youth team of Ruzomberok, being promoted to the U17 during the season 2010/11, where he won again the title. Until then he was used as winger, mostly for his speed and his sense of sacrifice. But during the year 2011/12, playing for the U19 he found the crucial change. "With the U19, my coaches, moved me in the attack, where i did very well. I played a succesfull season and i recived my first call from the first team, where i continued to play as striker". In the 03/2013 he made his first professional apparence with Ruzomberok, playing against Senica. Thanks to his positive debut's performance he found a permanent place on the pitch for the next ten games. He scored his first goal in the important Derby against Banska Bystrica, becoming one of the brightest talent to watch in the Fortuna Liga. He concluded his experience with Ruzomberok in the Jennuary of 2014, with 15 goals in 66 games, when he moved to Slovakian best team: Slovan Bratislava. Before to sign for Slovan he had a trial with CSKA Moskow. With Slovan Bratislava he was moved down to his old position, the left winger, showing his versatility helping the team even playing a game as left back. Until now he played 37 games scoring 11 goals. He has a strong National team's career, he made his debut with the senior national team in 2013, when he was 19 years old. But he made the best thing with U21, where he is the leader and the captian. He is part of the Slovakian gold generation of 1994, with players like Ondrej Duda, Branislav Ninaj, Stanislav Lobotka, Michal Pinter and other talents that will in future be the fortune of Slovakia. With U21 he made 14 apparences, scoring 7 goals (3 against Netherlands).
Technical qualities: He is a complete striker, he has all the qualities necessary to play the role. He is capable in the air, with a powerful jumping ability and the right heading timing. He is very fast and able to attack the spaces. Costantly moving he is a danger for the opponents and a big resource for his team. He often find the right cut behind the last defender, going alone to the goal. He has a great shooting coordination, he is able to score goals from different angles even with the right foot. He is an hard worker, able to make a constant pressure on the opponents and to follow the opponent's full backs.
Mental qualities: He is a determined player, hungry and brave. He has important leaders's qualities, that allowed him to become the captain of Slovakia U21. He is really open to his coach's necessity, playing in all the position the team need, even in the left back.
Physical qualities: He is not very tall, but he is so much tough. He always give hard time even to bigger defenders. He is very quick with an important acceleration. He has a good balance, is not easy to put him down.
Position: He is a striker, he can play as number #9 and as well as number #11. He can be the only forward in 4-2-3-1 and at the same time a second striker in the 4-4-2. I prefer to see him close to a tall striker that can give him the possibility to moving around. He played, mostly with Slovan Bratislava, as left winger, a position where i don't like so much to see him. This position underline his sacrifice sense, but hide his ability in moving around not giving references. He played better as right winger when he uses to cut behind the left back, finding the way to the goal. He played even as left back.
Weaknesses: 1)He has to improve his techincal skills, he is often predictable in the dribbling. 2)In the games where his teammates find difficulties in serve him in the spaces, he needs to help the team in the building of an offensive phase, participating more to the game.
