Seydouba Soumah made his professional debut for Ajax Cape Town on 22 January 2011 in a 3–0 win against Platinum Stars at Moruleng Stadium in Moruleng, North West Province. Seydouba, was acquired by Ajax Cape Town after being spotted and recruited to the mother city club as a 15-year-old kid from the streets of the West African country. The Guinean teenager was promoted from the youth ranks to perform with the club's first team at the start of the 2010–11 season, making his PSL debut after two loan spells in the National First Division at iKapa Sporting and F.C. Cape Town.Following his loan spells, Seydouba Soumah made his debut for Ajax Cape Town during the 2010–11 season, appearing in ten matches and scoring once to help the Urban Warriors secure a second-place finish in the league table that season. Following his debut with Ajax, Seydouba Soumah was transferred to the University of Pretoria, playing in the National First Division once more. In February 2012, he joined Slovak club FC Nitra and signed contract for 3 years. On 9 March 2012, he made his debut for FC Nitra against MŠK Žilina. He scored his first goal on 7 April 2012 against AS Trenčín. He closed the season with 6 goals on 22 games. On 1 January 2013 he was transferred to ŠK Slovan Bratislava. On 3 December 2012, Slovak club ŠK Slovan Bratislava announced that the club had signed Soumah to a four and half-year contract. On 1 January 2013 he joined blue-white squad. The transfer fee was €150.000. He made his debut for Slovan Bratislava on 16 March 2013 against FK Dukla Banská Bystrica, entering in as a substitute in place of Erik Grendel. On 9 June 2013, he made his debut for Guinea National Team against Mozambique. He played 85 minutes without goal and was substituted by A.Bangoura. Seydouba scored his first international goal on 10 September 2013, against Egypt. He scored his first goal with Slovan Bratislava on 4 August 2013 against Spartak Myjava. On 2 October 2014 he made his first UEFA Europa League match against SSC Napoli, he played full-time on the pitch without goal or assist. He scored his first UEL goal against Young Boys on 27 November 2014. On 15 November 2014, he scored his first international hattrick against Togo. In January 2015, was announced Guinean final squad for 2015 Africa Cup of Nations and Seydouba was in it among the stars as Kévin Constant, Ibrahima Traoré or Kamil Zayatte. On 24 January 2015, Seydouba made his first ever match on the Africa Cup of Nations. It was game against Cameroon. He played until 66 minute without goal and then he was replaced by N. Keïta. During summer 2015 he was loaned from Slovan Bratislava to Kwait Club Quadsia SC. There in 20 games he scored 14 goals resulting one of the best players of the league. He returned in Slovan and became the key member of the team for the season 2016/17 where he is dressing shirt number 10. In 33 games he already scored 18 goals and served 4 assist, resulting one of the best players of the league and one of the most talented emerging talents of the whole East European Leagues.
He is an offensive player able to play in all the positions of the attack. His key qualities are his dribbling, his speed and his quality and fast thinking. He has also a good vision and passing quality. In the 1vs1 is difficoult to mark him, he is able to find always the right space and the right moment where kill opponent defense with his run with the ball. He has also a high level sense of goal. During season 2016/17 he developed a killer instinct with which he was able to score 18 goals.
