Diego Buonanotte started his career in the juvenile team of River Plate making his first professional debut during the season 2005/6. After being one the best player of River Plate and some call up from the U20 and U23 of Argentinian National Team he moved to Europe in Malaga CF for 4,3 mln€ where he played for 2 seasons. After a 2 years with Granada CF he went back in South America to Quilmes and Pachuca he came back in Europe to AEK Athens winning the National Cup of Greece ending the season with 11 goals scored in 32 matches. After one year he decided to come back again in South America again joining CDUC where he became the key player of the club playing 63 games scoring 23 goals and serving 13 assists.
