CAREER
​Bel Hassani started playing football at SVVSMC and was then included in the c-youth of Sparta Rotterdam. He made his debut in the first team on August 22, 2010, during a game in the First Division against RBC Roosendaal. He signed for his first goal in the 2010/11 season, in an away match against FC Den Bosch. Bel Hassani signed his first professional contract with Sparta in the summer of 2011. He scored a goal in a home game against FC Oss and also gave an assist in the last minute: final score 2-2. After this he was allocated a basic place. He scored again against Almere City FC and gave three assists in a home game against Go Ahead Eagles. During his second season in professional football, he gave ten assists and won a Golden Bull for the top talent in the First Division.

Bel Hassani signed with Heracles Almelo on September 2, 2013. For this he made his debut in the Eredivisie. He also grew into a basic player in Almelo. He was in the 2014/15 season with Heracles on a relegation place until two rounds before the end. A year later, his teammates and he finished sixth and forced through the 2016 play-offs for the first time in club history for European football. In August 2016, opponent FC Arouca was the first and immediately last opponent in Heracles' first European participation in the preliminary rounds of the Europa League.

On the last day of the transfer period, on August 31, 2016, AZ Bel Hassani took over from Heracles Almelo. He went there to play with shirt number 18. On September 10, 2016, Bel Hassani made his debut for AZ, in the home game against Willem II, won 2-0. He was loaned to FC Groningen for the remainder of the 2018/19 season. 

On July 2, 2019, Bel Hassani exchanged AZ for PEC Zwolle. In Zwolle he signed a 2-year contract with an option for another season. After half a season in Zwolle, he signed a contract with the Qatari Al-Wakrah SC.
