CAREER
Ivan Prtajin was born on May 14, 1996 in Zadar in Croatia. He started his career playing in some youth teams in Croatia such as HNK Primorac, 'NK Arbanasi,' NK Trešnjevka, and NK Zagreb until the age of 16. After these seasons he was noticed by the sports managers of an Italian team and in fact in 2014 he moved to the Italian club Udinese Primavera with whom he scored 22 goals in 45 games considering also that he did not always play as a starter. Prtajin after these seasons at Udinese in the youth team and also with a bench in Serie A in the game lost against Cagliari 4-3, decided to return to Croatia. After that Ivan started touring different teams without finding his true dimension until in 2020 he signed for the Swiss club FC Schaffhausen with which he definitely exploded. Since joining his new club Prtajin has scored 25 goals and 9 assists in just a year and a half despite the need for initial adaptation to a new country. Right now he is undoubtedly the fittest forward in the Challenge League in fact he has scored 5 goals and provided an assist in the last 7 games and has allowed FC Schaffhausen to lose just one game in the last 7 and earned 14 points out of 21 available.

​TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Ivan Prtajin is a forward with great physical strength, fast and very effective in aerial play. Despite his massive physique, one of his best qualities is the opportunism with which he takes advantage of his opponent’s mistakes. He also manages to combine the remarkable sense of goal with the ability to play as a bank and serve assists to his teammates. Ivan prefers to play with his right foot but still manages to score with his left and is not in trouble when he has to use it. He is very strong in his headshots; in fact, he is also useful in the defensive phase on the corner. He is also very good at envying the spaces that are left free by the defense and at "playing" with the offside line. Another gift of him consists in making good use of his ability in ball protection especially when he starts in the open field using his good speed. He is a striker ready for a team that needs a striker who scores and that makes the team go up in times of difficulty using some long ball. He can also play in tandem with another striker in fact currently in his team they play using form 4312 where he plays alongside another striker with good physical presence in attack. His speed allows him to adapt to different offensive modules such as 4-2-3-1, 4-4-2, 3-5-2, 4-3-1-2, 4-3-3. He is a striker who, if put in the right conditions, can do really well and score a lot, allowing the teams in which he plays to be able to use crosses as well.

He was getting a big credit in Italy for what he did with Udinese Primavera, his confidence is high. ​
