​CAREER
He began his career in the youth teams of Juventud de Las Piedras, Uruguay. In July 2015 he moved from the U19 team to the first team, where he made his debut on 29 November 2015, coming in in the final minutes of the match against Racing Club de Montevideo. In January 2020 he went on loan to the Brazilian team of the Goias Esport Clube, which was playing in the Second Division. In Goias he played 18 games in a year of contract. In fact, on 31 December 2020, Juventud calls him back from the loan. In the current season Pintado brings together 16 appearances, seasoned by 2 goals and 1 assist in the league of the Liga de Ascensio (Serie B Uruguayan). Overall with his current team he has 112 appearances with 3 goals and 3 assists. In the national team on 16 October 2016 he made his only presence in the U20 national team, at home against Ecuador U20, where he played all 90 minutes in the 2-0 victory.

DESCRIPTION
Juan Pintado is a right winger in midfield, who can play with excellent results also as a right-back, in fact in my opinion this could be his ideal role, despite being used more often in midfield. Not gifted with a great physicality, however, he compensates with a great grit, determination and spirit of sacrifice that distinguish the Uruguayan players. Short player, quick in the tight and with an excellent leg in open space, he has an excellent technique that allows him to be very dangerous in the one-on-one offensive phase, as well as to come out clean in complicated situations of opposing pressure.
He manages to provide his teammates with excellent crosses from both the back and the front, and manages to be very useful in the finishing phase, with low ground passes between the opposing lines. In his career he has not scored many goals, but it is an aspect in which he can have a large margin for improvement, given that he has a decent shot from outside, and is often present in the goal area with his offensive projections. Very intelligent player, because he knows how to make the right play at the right time. He knows when to dribble to create numerical superiority and when to play the ball, without risking losing it in dangerous areas of the pitch.
In the non-possession phase, he has an excellent sense of position, excellent timing for advances, his tenacity and his dynamism allow him to rarely be overcome in one-on-one, excellent timing also for sliding tackles. He is discreet in the aerial game although he is not very impressive from a physical point of view.
