Lennard Sowah started his career with St. Pauli in Germany. In the summer of 2007 he was signed by Arsenal. He played for one season with Arsenal U18 before to move to Portsmouth U21. With Portsmouth he was a regular starter of the U21 Team playing in the Reserve League before to make the official debut in Premier League with the First Team in the home game against Blackburn on Aprli 2010. He was a regular starter of the First Team in Premier League until the end of that season. He didn't renew the contract and accepted the offer of Hamburg in Germany to play in Bundesliga in his home country and home city. He never made hid debut in Bundesliga, since he played for four season with the reserve team of Hamburg. During those years he was loaned two times, once to Millwal and the second time to Danish Club Vestjaelland. He found again a good dimension when he moved to Hamilton FC in Scottish Premier League. There, in the first half of the season 2016/17 he played 7 games at high level, earning a transfer to bigger club Hearts of Midlothian. Playing as Left Back and as Centre Back he played as regular starter of Hearts, playing until the end of the season 15 games. At the end of the season he was signed by Polish Club Cracovia to play in Polish Premier League. There he played only 8 games before to leave and come back again in Scotland. In Scotland he signed again with Hamilton FC. During the season 2018/19 he played 21 games. |
