Manolis Saliakas is a right-back with good feet with the vice of scoring. In his career out of 193 games played with club teams he has scored 16 goals in 193 games, certainly an excellent booty for a boy of only 25 years and mostly a defender.
Manolis grew up in the youth teams of Olympiakos Piraeus, with whom he also plays the Uefa Youth League, and then made his debut with the first team at 18, where he won a Greek championship and a national cup.
He starts the ranks between Karmiotissa and Chania Kissamikos before playing the last two seasons between Lamia and Pas Giannina in the Greek Super League, that is to say the top Greek national championship.
In the youth national teams of Greece he boasts 42 appearances and 5 goals, between Greece Under 17-18-19 and Under 21 (with the latter 13 appearances and 3 goals).
Finally, last month came the debut with the senior national team of Greece in the June match against Belgium ending 1-1.

Manolis is a good-footed right-back. He is one of the best right-backs in the Greek Super League.
He has played in the PAS Giannina since last July, where this year he made 37 appearances between the league and the national cup with 1 goal and 1 assist.
Manolis has an excellent basic technique, a very polite foot that allows him to be the shooter of both direct and indirect set pieces for his team.
In the offensive phase he already manages to make a difference in his championship. He is a full-back who loves to push and propose, he risks the game and when he has the opportunity, in addition to serving his teammates with his crosspieces, he looks for the conclusion towards the mirror of the goal.
Defensively he has reached a good level of performance when he is forced to one on one and in the defensive diagonals.
Strong in the contrasts and in one-on-one both in the offensive and defensive phases.
The Heraklion player has a remarkable physical prowess. He has one of his best qualities in running and physical endurance.
Manolis has one of his specialties in distance shooting and direct set pieces, in the past he was also a penalty shooter in his teams, a real wild card in the offensive phase.
