CAREER
Matthias Braunoder took his first steps as a footballer in SV Sigleb (2009-2011), before moving to the Austrian Vienna nursery in the 2011/12 season, at just 9 years old. Matthias Braunoder is a box-to-box midfielder, who has found his main place in this early stage of his career as a midfielder in a two-man midfield or as a half-winger in a three-man midfield. Thanks to his remarkable flexibility, he can also cover the role of midfielder on the right or left and that of attacking midfielder. He is a modern and complete midfielder, who combines quality and quantity, making him useful and valuable for the team in all areas of the pitch and in both phases of the game.
Not physically structured, low center of gravity, fast and dynamic, he plays with great rhythm and intensity and is in possession of excellent conditional skills and great running.
With good basic technique, he performs his duties as a director with quality, relying on good geometry and an excellent vision of the game. He uses both feet, plays casually on both the short and long and his repertoire also includes quality key passes.
Equipped with great mobility, he often also exploits the width to reach the cross from the bottom and accompanies the offensive action continuously, often coming to operate his powerful shot from a distance or attempting insertions in the penalty area to conclude the action.
